Thinking of Entering the Vietnam Market? ABR announces a Series of Blockchain Landscape Reports focusing on S...

January 29, 2019

Vietnam has been garnering a good amount of attention in cryptosphere over the past year, most notably by ranking among the top 5 audiences on CoinMarketCap.

This is thanks to the rapid growth of its crypto communities, continued engagement with crypto trading and a strong pool of technically-adept developers. With the Vietnamese government due to announce its crypto legislation anytime soon, there has been a build-up in interest from blockchain startups to enter the market.

To provide these startups with the latest on-the-ground insights, Asia Blockchain Review (ABR) has been working closely with local blockchain players to produce our latest Vietnam Blockchain Landscape Report. Although an earlier version of the report was launched earlier, the upcoming edition will be even more comprehensive than before. This version will include an updated list of ecosystem players (a portion showed below).

Excerpt from Upcoming Vietnam Blockchain Landscape Report issued by Asia Blockchain Review

In this authoritative report, we will recap key developments and insights in Vietnam’s cryptocurrency and blockchain space over the past few years and introduce a comprehensive overview of blockchain companies active in the country. Furthermore, we have conducted numerous interviews with local opinion leaders such as Long Vuong, CEO of TomoChain; Ben Le, Product Manager of WeTrust; Leo Pham, Program Manager of Visaa. The report will include insights from these leaders in the latest version.

The report will be part of a series of blockchain landscape reports focusing on various Southeast Asian countries. Through ABR’s extensive partnerships and physical presence in the region, we will uncover what’s currently happening in the following countries: Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines.

In ABR’s earlier Unblock meetup in Bangkok, Head of Asia-Pacific Nicole Nguyen presented initial drafts of the Thailand Blockchain Landscape Report. The Malaysian version of the report was also presented in a meetup held in Kuala Lumpur. These meetups, held last year in September, attracted about 100 attendees each amidst intense discussions about the local blockchain landscapes.

These reports will continue to cement ABR’s role as a leader for media and community building for blockchain technology in Southeast Asia. Companies looking to explore or collaborate in these markets are welcome to reach out to us and leverage our connections.

The Blockchain Landscape Report Series will officially launch in the second quarter of this year. To stay updated, don’t forget to subscribe to our mailing list.
