Thailand-Based Bitkub to Raise THB300M in Series A

Headquartered in Thailand, Bitkub Capital Group Holdings revealed that it is looking to raise THB300 million in a Series A fundraising round, with the goal of launching an initial public offering to enter the country’s stock market in the near future.

Fundraising to Expand Bitkub Team, Add Products

Jirayut Srupsrisopa, CEO of Bitkub Capital Group Holdings, said the fundraising round will be held with the purpose of securing funds to expand the Bitkub team, add new products on its website, and develop website infrastructure, applications, and workflow systems.

“We will be carrying out this fundraising round because we have proven that the company is successful in generating revenue with its business model,” said Jirayut.

“At the same time, we are looking to build a stronger customer base while retaining our existing customers. In the future, we want to see all Thai customers gaining easier access to cryptocurrency.”

Expanding Crypto Services

Bitkub CMO Sugrit Phutaviriya added that the company aims to become a one-stop blockchain service provider.

“Our goal is to become the leading blockchain service provider in Thailand with Bitkub.com (a crypto exchange licensed by Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission), Bitkub Blockchain Technology (a blockchain advisory), and Bitkub Academy (a cryptocurrency and blockchain education center),” said Sugrit.

“We aim to educate the general public in Thailand to truly understand blockchain and cryptocurrency.

Recently, Bitkub completed its pre-Series A fundraising round and received THB50 million in capital. After the round, the company was valued at THB750 million or US$25 million.
