Dr. Panachit Kittipanyangam, President of Thailand Tech Startup Association and Director of DPU X – an institute for developing entrepreneurship and future workforces – revealed that the university will be offering the “Blockchain Technical Appreciation for Non-Technical” course as a one-day course on November 19.
“The course will educate participants on the strengths of blockchain technology and how security, transparency, and immutability of blockchain can benefit businesses,” Panachit said. “Both the private and public sector are now aware of the possibilities provided by blockchain technology as well as how it can help organizations better store their data.”
Panachit added that participants do not need to be able to code in order to join the program, as the course will focus on adapting blockchain technology to improve the operational efficiency of organizations.
“Blockchain can create new business opportunities for organizations, and in this course, the topics that will be covered are 1. Understanding Blockchain 2. How Blockchain Can Reshape Your Business Landscape 3. Blockchain Strategy for Business and 4. Blockchain Security Risks for User and How to Mitigate Them,” he said.
Panachit added that the course will be taught by Sathapon Patanakua, CEO and Founder of SmartContract Thailand, who is a leading blockchain expert in the country. Moreover, participants will be able to join in a Q&A session as well as learn about case studies for various businesses that can be further adapted to suit their organizations.
