MTO Global Pte, a blockchain company based in Singapore, disclosed that its recently-launched M2O Booking Service will allow users to book over 600,000 hotels around the world using M2O coins, with beta testing to begin in November 2019.
According to Yahoo! Finance, the M2O Booking Service allows customers to carry out their bookings by transacting M2O coins, as opposed to using credit cards on other platforms. The use of cryptocurrency will also further safeguard user privacy.
MTO Global Pte CEO Henry Kim revealed that with convenient and practical use cases, M2O has the potential to quickly gain more users in the cryptosphere.
“Cryptocurrency is completely different from stocks and bonds. Because it’s the practical use that matter most for crypto coins,” he said. “M2O coin will be one of the fastest-growing cryptocurrency in regard to a practical use case.”
Meanwhile, Kim revealed the company’s plans to introduce services that will promote further use for the token.
“We will open a coin exchange in Korea in November before establishing an overseas exchange. The overseas exchange is expected to be the cornerstone of the country’s smart city projects, contributing to solving resource and infrastructure shortages and transportation problems as well as improving the citizen’s quality of life,” Kim said.
“We are currently discussing with many Korean companies to form a consortium for the overseas exchange and will make a public announcement soon.”
M2O coins are traded on global coin exchanges, including BitForex and IDAX.
