On the event launch day, Mr. Cris D. Tran – CEO of IBV indicated that

We aim to encourage, explore creative and innovative ideas developing in Vietnam throughout the Blockathon 2020 competition. In order to achieve this, Vietnam should not only be a tech production with abundant human resources but also be the first place to receive benefits from those innovative outcomes. Therefore, during the contest, participants will have the opportunities to solve evident problems from real-life cases in our country.

Blockathon 2020 encourages creativity and innovation through a Crowdsourcing method – One of the most effective methods to collect ideas, technology solutions from different and fresh perspectives to resolve organizational and community problems.

Blockathon 2020 also connects organizations of the government, corporations with the community of technology and innovation and human resources to approach extraordinary ideas as well as turn creative ideas into reality.
