Scaling the telecommunications industry, KakaoTalk doesn’t look like they’re slowing down anytime soon; Ground X, the blockchain subsidiary of the leading South Korean mobile platform, Kakao, has launched their Klaytn virtual Hackathon which will run till 31 May. In addition to prizes, winners will be invited to attend TXGX, the technology-oriented forum organized by Ground X, which will take place in Seoul in late 2019. The public testnet, Baobab aims to draw innovative developers to build Blockchain Applications (BApp) on it with a vision to dedicate validating the value and utility of blockchain technology by providing a blockchain service for mass adoption.
The Klaytn team is excited to kick off the first hackathon meetup in Ho Chi Minh City on the 25th of April, recognising that Vietnam is one of the leading SEA countries in furthering the development of blockchain technology for global mass adoption.
