Are We Secure Enough? A Blockchain Explainer

It is now 2020, a year where drastic measures and changes are happening from one end to another. As new technology is being developed and adapted in various industries and the ecosystem of the communities, we are set to witness a possibility of data transparency and traceability where duplication is no longer an option.

When it comes to decentralised or distributed ledger systems (widely known as the Blockchain technology), digital assets can be monitored. This means that the security of information is something that we all look out for. Nevertheless, it is not a simple leap of faith to just apply it without understanding the importance of why it was developed in the first place. With Blockchain, everything becomes permanent, and blocks are separated within chains. Today, we are exploring the key elements of it.

Immutable Data

From data integration to confidentiality, there are blockchain systems that allow privacy of the entity, without being accessed by any external parties. No tampering or manipulation of information can be done which is an essential aspect of it; thus nailing the high accountability standard of using the technology.

Cyber Criminals Are A Chat Away

Communication comes in all forms, however; the differences lie between the methods that are being utilised. One wrong step could destroy the whole structure of privacy that is being obtained, or one simple gesture can transform the way we all communicate. Having Blockchain technology in the atmosphere of the communication and interactions can be impenetrable to malicious attacks. Variety of encrypted applications are being developed, but when the structure lies on the privacy and authentication of the data that are being transmitted and delivered.

Future Technologies For All

Given the development of future implementations of smart cities to societies in the upcoming years, we are already in the midst of the digital revolution and Internet of Things (IoT). To name a few, we have Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered robots assisting humans in daily activities to the tracking of attacks that can be highly protected by the system.

Mainstream Security Measure

A shift of technological adoption has been happening since the year the World Wide Web was first introduced. As a community that is hungry for developments and new ways to live, Blockchain sets the way we track and secure information.
