The East Asia Blockchain Summit: Road to Mass Adoption is bringing together the world’s leading blockchain projects to Ho Chi Minh City, to be attended by government officials from various ministries and departments that are currently researching the innovative technology and its real-world use cases. The summit will focus on the progress of blockchain technology towards mass adoption.

The East Asia Blockchain Summit will take place on June 15th, 2019 at Pullman Saigon Centre Hotel, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City at 14:30. The summit is being hosted by KardiaChain, a leading interoperable blockchain network. Participating in the event are the founders and executives of top blockchain projects, including Contentos, Blockcloud, TOP Network, and QTUM. Furthermore, high-profile representatives from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), MobiFone Global, Viet Hai Communication Inc, and Block Crafters Capital, one of the leading startup VCs, will also be attending the Summit to join an afternoon full of discussions about the blockchain industry and future opportunities.

The two main topics of discussion at the summit will focus on blockchain mass adoption. During the discussion, panel will express their opinions on two topics, with the first topic delving into the current applications of blockchain technology in both the private and public sectors. That will be followed by another in-depth discussion on the current impacts of blockchain on different aspects of daily life.

According to industry experts, Vietnam counts as one of a handful of countries with high potential for the development and innovation of blockchain technology. This is largely thanks to government grants for Information Technology (IT) R&D aimed at increasing the work performance and efficiency of various government bodies, as well as various private-sector enterprises looking to gain competitive advantages through innovative technology.

Vietnam’s several high-potential blockchain projects, large number of blockchain enthusiasts, talented developer pool, and the receptive mindset of government bodies and companies has led Seoul-based Block Crafters to expand in the Southeast Asian country. Michael Park, Marketing Director of Block Crafters, singled out KardiaChain as one of the top blockchain projects in Vietnam and the wider region, with its real-world use cases in smart city development and blockchain-based solutions for a range of corporations. He hopes that the cooperation between Block Crafters and KardiaChain will support each other’s coverage in the Korean, Singaporean, and Vietnamese markets, while also complementing each other’s strengths to continuously contribute to the blockchain industry as a whole.

The East Asia Blockchain Summit showcases the immense innovation of blockchain technology in Vietnam and solidifies the position of blockchain projects developed by Vietnamese technological and financial experts at a global scale.
