ProPak Asia 2019, one of Asia’s largest technology exhibitions, recently recognized the potential for LINA Network’s Supply Chain solution in supervising and tracing agricultural products.
ProPak Asia 2019 was held in Thailand this year from June 12-15, attracting 50,000 visitors from 79 countries. During the event, LINA Network introduced a blockchain application in Supply Chain management that garnered serious attention from production and export enterprises.
According to Yahoo News, the application was the culmination of 16 months of product development and strategic collaboration with GS1 Thailand, a local member of not-for-profit organization GS1.
The beta version of LINA Network’s Supply Chain application enables users to retrieve and verify data on product origins, from material collection to packaging. Details for each stage of product processing are permanently and immutably recorded on the blockchain.
Product details are retrieved within five seconds of scanning the QR code printed on a sample product with a mobile app developed by LINA Network. This is done using data provided by Aim Thail Intertrade and migrated to a private blockchain maintained by LINA Network.
As reported by TechBullion, the application of LINA Network’s solution in Supply Chain can help manufacturers fight counterfeit and defective goods, while allowing consumers to verify the origin, quality, production processes and standards of the products they wish to buy.
The official version of LINA Network’s Supply Chain application is slated for release in Q3 2019. Additionally, LINA Network plans to implement aggressive growth strategies in order to attract and collaborate with over 20,000 direct investors and projects.
