2018 proved to be a great year for Infinity Blockchain Holdings (IBH). It was named among the top ten blockchain technology solution providers by APAC CIO Outlook for its innovative edge, most notably with its flagship products Infinito Wallet and Blockpass. IBH’s development arm also partnered with National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) to build on blockchain and IoT, highlighting one of the biggest partnerships over the past year.
IBH has grown into a group of over 300 blockchain experts and have expanded their physical across 8 countries in Southeast Asia.
As early adopters of blockchain technology in Asia, the company aspires to become the most influential blockchain enabler. IBH targets to empower technology innovation and render blockchain value to the industries and society that can benefit from it.
The UM project is an IBH initiative that targets to award two research grants. IBH aims to nurture the talent and build industrial-academic cooperation with the UM Project.
The team of researchers needs to formulate and conduct the research in accordance with an efficient regulatory regime. The first grant is a product/service based grant and the end product must have a security token issuance. On the other hand, the 2nd grant is more exploratory in nature where researchers from various faculties work towards an end-product that must address regulatory compliance challenges of a particular field.
Researchers are not required to build or design the end-product but need to conduct all the research relevant to product development. The project research duration is 24 months (2 years) and is non-extendible, with the research papers to be submitted to QRC/IBH. Should the product be deemed suitable for further development, the associated team must agree to participate in the product development stage.
IBH is committed to advance the society with next-generation blockchain solutions and welcomes any interest to collaborate on this UM Project.
