Tribe Accelerator Enters Partnerships with Intel, Nielsen and BMW

April 11, 2019

Tribe Accelerator – a Singapore government-supported blockchain accelerator launched in the first quarter of 2019 – said it has entered into a strategic partnership with Intel Corporation, Nielsen, and BMW Group Asia. The firms will join to share knowledge at Tribe Accelerator’s events and engagements, with the global demonstration tour scheduled to visit tech hubs including San Francisco, Shanghai, Singapore and Seoul.

Each partner will bring different ideas and experiences to the events. Intel Corporation said it will cooperate with Tribe Accelerator to support event attendees in adapting blockchain technologies for new business solutions, adding that it will also provide business and technical mentorship at the events.

Nielsen disclosed that it will establish a “sandbox” where participants can put new technologies to trial, in order to expedite the implementation and adoption of new blockchain solutions.

BMW Group Asia revealed that it will share best practices regarding innovation and insights in the mobility industry. Topics to be covered include the approach and integration of new technologies in BMW’s business operations, as well as the potential of blockchain for mass implementation.

Ryan Chew, Managing Partner of Tribe Accelerator, said, “We are glad that our incoming partners are fully supportive of the work we are doing, the ecosystem we are building, and are sharing their resources to help us achieve this vision.”

Tribe Accelerator aims to develop products using blockchain solutions. The firm is part of the Southeast Asia-focused venture capital (VC) firm, Trive Ventures, headquartered in Singapore.

Tribe is officially supported by Enterprise Singapore, the government agency responsible for developing the city-state’s startup ecosystem.
