When it comes to the future of technology and education, every single factor lies in the data to implementation process. As Blockchain became a central idea to trace, process and deliver information at its best, including for the administration to data tracking of educational tools, the key element to it is vulnerability.

ABR recently spoke to the Head of Student Central and Senior Lecturer at MAHSA University, Dr. Saad Musbah Alasil on the whole concept of Blockchain in the education sector, specifically amongst the community of MAHSA (Malaysian Allied Sciences Academy). As the year progresses, new developments and technologies are evolving and once an entity adapted to the changes, one leaves nothing behind except a legacy for all.

Future Technology Is Vital In 2020 Onwards

As a digital ledger transaction of information to data, one can easily trace everything in one single platform with the key storage and sharing capabilities. It includes any detailed tacky information where one could ever think of, such as the supply chain, financial transactions, video games, and even in education.

“Blockchain by definition is a growing list of records that are linked using cryptography. It is a digital revolution when it comes to data storage and sharing. It is NOT only changing the field of education for students, but they are also shaking up the role of educators themselves.”

When we asked about the future of the digital world, the whole idea was to be “prepared” and educate the students to lecturers and administrators to understand why it is a need to adapt towards the technology that is vastly evolving in the community of all industries.

Artificial Intelligence Tutors

The human-factor is something that one shall never neglect the importance of, but; mistakes do happen when a lot of things are on the line, especially for educators to students and more individuals in the sphere of any industry to begin with. On that account, the existence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) came into place where some universities have started to apply it as a tutoring system, assisting educators to students in evolving to monitor and grade students in a non-judgmental format.

“Artificial intelligence plays a very important role in Education by making the whole system CUSTOMISED & PERSONALISED” added Dr. Saad.

When it comes to fully adopting the future technology of Blockchain in the education sector, a long detailed process of transcribing data to information into the technology may take some time for many people to be fully adjusted on, hence why; the rate of application is still at its infancy level in the education lane.

Adoption At Its Finest

Some universities and other sectors of industries have indeed been adopting to adapting with the technology of the 2020 centuries by getting themselves expertised and adopted. However, it takes more than just knowing about the information to data to be able to say “Yes, I see the importance of this technology, therefore; I want this in our system for good.”

The least of everything in all sectors in industries is that the general fully-fledged adoption requires undevoted focus, determination and efforts to understand the extreme potential of it in revolutionalising all industries, and not just in education sectors like MAHSA University.
